Why Front Loading Washers Are Popular
Everyone has seen at least one front load washing machine in the store or at someone’s house. Maybe you have admired the modern look and sturdy design. Front load washing machines are not a brand new concept. They have been used in Europe for a long time.
The major reason for the increased popularity of front load washing machines is because of the efficiency and energy saving benefits. This leaves consumers constantly asking questions about what the differences and benefits are between top and front load washers.
While there are a few similarities to front and top loading washing machines, there are quite a few differences in the way they work as well. Obviously they both wash clothes with water and detergent. But those are about the only major similarities.
As we all know top loading washing machines wash clothes with the force of a large agitator moving the clothes around in the soapy water. These washers then rinse it again the same way in clean water to remove all detergent, then spinning it to remove a lot of the excess water.
